I've got three other network cameras all the same brand (mini 4x Starlight PTZ dome, two 4x zoom bullets; 4K NC and 8K Starlight enhanced) and the PTZ5A4K-25X has the best day/night image. Daytime viewing set to auto is crystal clear, vivid colors with no barrel or edge distortion. A slight halo effect in day/night viewing but only noticeable at zero zoom. Night time surveillance in color can't compare with my NC bullet but it's pretty impressive with just a distance street light or a few garden lights. IR illumination is amazing! My mini dome is good to about 50' and somewhat blurry but the PTZ5A4K-25X can sharply light up a dark house a half block away! Being 1/1.8" @ 4 MP with manual iris control means I can easily remove most motion blur/ghosting in low light conditions keeping the gain/NR set low while maintaining a high shutter speed. My other cameras struggle auto focusing in low light or IR illumination only but the PTZ5A4K-25X is excellent, no need playing around with manual focus. PT is very fast and super quiet. PFA zooming works as advertised. Auto tracking once setup correctly works most of the time depending on the speed of the target, lighting conditions and size of obstacles blocking the view such as shrubs, parked cars etc. FOV is quite narrow so I had to mount it about 20' up just to get my front yard in view. Network speed is excellent. IP67 rated so no internal microphone. The camera housing including the black sphere is all aluminum, no plastic, and the lens protector appears to be glass. The included wall mount bracket is one beefy piece of aluminum! Trust me, the eyelet can easily hold the PTZ5A4K-25X by the included steel cable hook. Free shipping to Canada with tracking was fast. Mine arrived very well boxed with the camera wrapped in plastic and placed in rigid foam. It included a 24V DC 2.5A adapter but I used PoE+ instead. No branding apart from a small silver EmpireTech sticker on the back. EmpireTech customer support is excellent.
